2019 World Heritage Scholarship for young people

Already for the second time, the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) in Northwest Europe and North America enabled 7 young people to explore World Heritage on a trip through Europe and North America. Equipped with a budget of 1.000 €, they had a chance to learn about our member cities and experience why our UNESCO World Heritage needs to be preserved.

From August until early November 2019, the Young Travellers shared their experiences on a special travel blog website: http://www.owhc-youngtravelling.com/ as well as other social media channels like Instagram and Facebook. Thus, a wide audience could be targeted with the special view of these young people and their new insights on our World Heritage Cities.
