Monitoring

Monitoring related to the world heritage topic means identification of projects to be reported to UNESCO and exchange and communication with the relevant administrative bodies.

The Monitoring aspect not only includes periodic Reporting and additional reactive Monitoring, but also the management of natural risks. The establishment of a World Heritage Steering Committe to monitor new development in core and buffer zones here is a Regensburg "Special" and was set up in order to simplify the various processes.
