Communication and dissemination

Communicating the World Heritage idea and Regensburg’s World Heritage attributes to residents and visitors is an essential aspect of the world heritage coordination´s work.

The world heritage visitors centre, which opened in May 2011 is of big importance here. To complete the range of various outputs, brochures, annual reports and other publications are produced. The biggest events to spread the world heritage idea are the annual World Heritage Days: Families, Citizens and guests are invited to participate actively in workshops, guided tours and special offers.
